About Us

Marcus Haven is a social responsibility program, aimed at taking care of the hungry, the needy and the destitute citizens within the Republic of South Africa. Marcus Haven (MH) is named after one of the most caring human beings ever to exist, in a rural village of Bethanie in the NW province, Mr Seengnatso Marcus Montoedi (Marcus / Natso)

Marcus’ warmth influenced the birth of this portfolio. Grooming The Executive (GTE) aims to immortalise Marcus and ensure that many more people experience the care he embodied during his short life.

GTE partners with various stakeholders to achieve the objectives set out by this program. This is done by linking the beneficiary with a specific sponsor, the approach taken is to make sure that full accountability is maintained, that the sponsors know exactly where their contributions are going and who they are benefiting.

Sponsors may be provided with a Tax Exemption (Section18 A) certificate and ensure that they receive Tax benefit for their generosity and the contributions made

The Marcus Haven team works closely with various community leaders, who are in a better position to understand the dynamics of the beneficiaries.

Our Services

Food Supplies

Supply of food parcels for the needy as well as the child-headed families. The family has to demonstrate the need for the service. They would not have a member of the family who is employed or running a business as a form of earning an incom

Educational Support

The program endeavours to support promising young learners to achieve educational excellence.

The support is not given to any child. It is limited to needy child who demonstrates academic excellence. The request for support should be accompanied by a letter from the school they currently attend, motivating for the candidate’s support

The support could include (but not limited to) among others; purchase of study material, special school excursions and projects, Matric Dance, Graduation clothes and regalia etc

Health Care

Facilitating Health care for the needy.

Where specialised care for specific ailments may be required, MH would facilitate assistance through its Health practitioner network as well as assist with fund raising through other stakeholder partners
